Retreats and Well Being Breaks on Request

We live in the Cathar Country, Ariege, France, just a short distance from Montsegur, the great Cathar shrine.
The ariege lies to the south west of Toulouse and rises gradually to the high pyreness (10,000 feet). Bordering both Andorra and Spain, the Ariege is one of the least populated, most unspoilt and beautiful areas of France with an average of 2000 hours of sunshine per year. There are hundreds of walking trails, Cathar castles perched high above breathtaking landscapes, lovely market towns, fascinating markets with sun ripened produce and the aroma of herbs and fresh food. There are rolling hills, green valleys and rocky gorges with hidden villages. Traditional farming methods have insured an abundance of wild flowers and a large number of different species of butterfly. Orchids and birds of prey thrive here. In Autumn wild fruit appears everywhere.
The Ariege is a holy place, steeped in spiritualism and history. This is where the last great gnostic church in Europe flourished and died at the hands of the Roman catholic church and the french crown. The spirit of Catharism, it's beauty, it's simplicity and it's great love still haunts this stunningly beautiful land. This is a place for healing, for reflection, for rejeuvenation and for sacred time. We invite you to join us in this lovely area for a retreat, for some sacred time, for some time to rest and perhaps reflect on your life, your direction, your priorities and your future.
Our retreat breaks are gentle. We facilitate your own needs, offering spiritual healings/readings, energy healings/relaxations and the Bach Flower remedies. We also offer gentle walks in the beautiful french countryside, visits to the Cathar Chateaux and of course good food and chat. We take from one to four people for each retreat so the group is small and individual needs are emphasised. Each retreat break lasts four days (arriving on day one and departing on day four) and includes accommodation in a lovely gite or B&B, breakfast and evening meal and transport to and from the airport (Carcassonne, Perpignan, Toulouse).
Our retreats are available on request and generally at short notice as we understand that sometimes people just need to get away and want something quickly. Just email or call us and we will arrange for you or your small group to come along.

We arrive home at about at 4.00 pm and then I do a Relaxation session for you. We have dinner at 6.00 pm with time to relax and enjoy the evening.
On Monday Morning we head for Mirepoix again to visit the weekly market which is probably the best in the region with a huge array of local produce, wine, cheese, jewellery, beautiful aromas and a beautiful atmosphere.
